Kanto Festival

I am glad to have short holiday in this weekend. It was exciting to be a part of volunteering activities and directly having annual festival in Akita City. In this post, I will present some photos about it. Let's enjoy summer festival in Akita. The name is Kanto Festival or shortly we can say as Lanterns Festival. This festival is held on 3-6 August every year. Every institution and local people participate in this event. So, don't surprise when you see Fujitsu or Sharp or Army institution lanterns in Kanto Festival. There are more groups participating in 4-days festival to show their corporations and culture. Here I attached some about it. The history or stories behind will be posted soon.

Note: I was wearing Yukata yesterday. It is an used Yukata that I bought from second hand shop, but it is very nice one and looked new, isn't it?
