Bagaimana tidak? Keberadaannya yang tahun lalu sempat tertunda untuk diikuti, tetapi tahun ini semoga bisa pergi. Tahap pertama sudah ditembus dengan bisa menjadi presenter untuk paper yang diajukan. Betapa bahagianya!

Invitation letter langsung dari Berlin datang untuk membantu pengajuan visa ke Jerman. Nah, kegiatan itu adalah IGSC 4th Berlin. Acara ini sendiri baru berlangsung 4 tahun terakhir dan terus berkembang. Menurut diri, acara ini mendorong perkembangan dan pertukaran informasi bagi seluruh masyarakat geosains muda dunia, termasuk Indonesia. Cerita acaranya apa saja? The 4th International Geosciences Student Conference is our mutual opportunity to unite past, present & future of the geosciences. SGS, Geo.X, and many partners and sponsors from industry and academia invite you to come to Berlin, Germany, and spread the vision of Inspiring Change from the heart of Europe to the world.
Geoscientists use very different time scales and tools from physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology to develop a comprehensive understanding of the Earth system processes. Still, we are united as one geoscience community and can use our precious and yet fleeting time on Earth to play a vital part in Inspiring Change in the geosciences and society. 22 years after the German reunification in 1990, the German capital city Berlin has consolidated its status as a world city of culture, politics and media as well as one of the most prolific centres of higher education and research worldwide with more than 3,000 students and young geoscientists, who are following in the footsteps of Alexander von Humboldt.
Kegiatan IGSC 4th di Berlin akan membawakan 4 tema besar yang sayang sekali untuk dilewatkan. Diri yakin banyak calon - calon peneliti, penemu dan pemimpin dunia dapat saling berbagi melalui keempat tema ini, yaitu Suistainable Living, Resources and Energy, Fundamental Research, Hazard and Risks.
Presentasi keempat tema ini juga didukung dengan kegiatan Fieldtrip, Short Course dan Exhibition. Puji Tuhan, diri telah terdaftar dan mendapat tempat di short course metal stable isotope.
METAL STABLE ISOTOPES SHORT COURSEThe Earth Surface Geochemistry Section of the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) invites undergraduate and graduate students in the geosciences, chemistry, or physics to register for this short course on metal stable isotopes as fingerprints in the Earth and the environment from 22 to 25 April in Potsdam close to Berlin.Participatns will explore the so-called "non-traditional" stable isotopes, of which the minor shifts by isotope fractionation have been made detectable only recently by multicollector ICP-mass spectrometry. Prof. Friedhelm von Blanckenburg and his colleagues will address the following topics: Why do isotopes shift their relative abundances? Principles of mass-dependent isotope fractionation. Isotope fractionation during precipitation, mineral dissolution, weathering, uptake by higher plants, biomedical applications, the hydrosphere, and formation of the planets. Basics of MC-ICP-mass spectrometry: sample preparation, ionisation, ion optics and mass separation, detection systems, and data evaluation.
